Traditionally X-Rays were converted to visable light by scintallator, the CCD would conventionally transform light into electronic signals which diffuse and consequently result in 'blurred' images. The Xera Smart is different...

Xera Smart uses direct CMOS sensor technology, the CMOS Sensor uses a direct process to convert X-Rays to electronic signals which eliminates diffusion and delivers high definition clinical image quality for accurate diagnosis. The CMOS sensor also minimises exposure time which reduces patient dosage by 50% (compaed to other YOSHIDA equipment).
