Although routine maintenance to the manufacturers’ specifications should help protect your dental equipment from emergency breakdowns, inevitably parts do need replacing from time to time.

If you do have a faulty piece of equipment, DB Dental can help you in a number of ways. We have a Technical Support Desk at our office, which you can call at any time during the working week for technical advice and troubleshooting over the phone.

Our extensive experience of dental equipment means that we’ve seen most faults first-hand over the past 20 years, so our Technical Support Desk team – with over 150 years’ combined experience between them – are skilled at diagnosing faults over the phone and may be able to talk you through a solution without needing to call out an engineer.

Our team can advise you about replacing fibre optic bulbs, suction hoses and other consumable items that generally don’t require an engineer’s visit. We can also give you advice and training on cleaning procedures and routine care, testing requirements, water line testing, shock treatment and maintenance.

If the problem can’t be corrected over the phone and you do need an engineer to visit, you have the reassurance of knowing that 87% of faults can be repaired with just one visit.
