The Murray Gemini HGEM-SAB is a specialist stool. Whilst the back rest will act as a lumbar support, it has been designed for an operative who requires a moveable arm, without having to leave the stool. The arm can rotate 360 degrees, providing an arm with one swift movement, also the arm has a ratchet system allowing it to move closer or further away from the operative.

The arm will also wrap around in front of the operative providing a torso butt, without having to straddle the seat. This is very popular with Dental nurses, Head & Neck Surgeons, Sonographers, ICU / HDU departments.

The Base

The base of the chair is powder coated, aluminium, which can be upgraded to polished aluminium. Many bases are strengthened by a honeycomb effect on the underside, which is an ideal place for bacteria to breed. Murray’s base is strengthened by a T structure, which gives a smooth clean surface to wipe clean.

Material

All products comply with fire safety regulations and ISO9001. Murray seating is free from latex. The upholstery is breathable, wipe clean and impregnated with antibacterial agents at the point of manufacture. There is a choice of 85 colours which are included in the price.

Weight capacity cylinders have been tested to hold a weight of 22 stones. If required this may be increased.

• Foot height control enables height range of the seat to be adjusted with the foot, rather than hand lever.

• Smaller 19” base ideal where space is limited or the clinician needs to get close to the patient.
• Load locking castors provide ease of movement from one place to another . Castors lock automatically when weight is applied.
• Unload locking castors provide stability whilst sitting but unlock automatically when weight is applied to allow movement whilst working.
• 65mm Manual locking castors provide the user the choice to lock the chair in position or have the castor freewheeling.
• Glides static feet, provide a static stool at all times. Typically used in laboratories.
